  • Who are "guests" of The Way You Move Dance Cruise?
    "Guests" of The Way You Move Dance Cruise are cruisers that book and pay their entire cruise fare through The Way You Move Dance Cruise payment portal.
  • What is The Way You Move Dance Cruise (TWYMDC)?
    The Way You Move Dance Cruise is a Music and Dance Theme Cruise. Traditionally we offer seminars, theme parties, dance classes, Music and loads of variety. Our goal is for you to have experience of a life time.
  • Will I get sick or seasick?
    Most ships are big and well stabilized that you can hardly tell you are moving, especially in the calm waters of the Caribbean during the time we travel. Radars help big ships attempt to outrun hurricanes and other bad-weather patches, but any queasiness can usually be relieved by an over-the-counter medication like Dramamine or Bonine. If you are prone to seasickness, ask your doctor before you leave home for the Transderm patch, available by prescription. Alternative remedies include ginger capsules and acupressure wristbands, which are available at most pharmacies. Also, note that the nurser’s desk on most ships can provide rations.
  • Do we have a certain time to board the cruise ship when we arrive in New Orleans?
    Our activities start at 2:00 p.m. on board. So we suggest that you board at 2:00 p.m. We don’t want you to miss the get acquainted with the ship tour. Besides, the sooner you get on the sooner you can start to taste all of that good food.
  • Are children allowed to attend the cruise?
    Carnival does have a program for children. However, the programs that we have cater to adult cruisers.
  • From where does The Way You Move Dance Cruise embark?
    This year we will port out of New Orleans, Louisiana.
  • Is a passport required for The Way You Move Dance Cruise?
    CRUISE TRAVEL FOR U.S CITIZENS The Way You Move Dance Cruise and Carnival highly recommends that all guests travel with a passport valid for at least six months beyond completion of travel-unless otherwise noted differently). This will enhance the debarkation experience as delays may be expected upon return to the United States for those without one. Additionally, this will enable guests to fly from the U.S. to meet their ship at a foreign port should they miss their scheduled port of embarkation and allow guests who must disembark the ship before their cruise ends due to an emergency to fly back to the U.S without significant delays and complications. Cruises that begin and end in the same U.S port / Cruises that begin and end in a different U.S port ALL guests are required to carry proof of citizenship such as a birth certificate OR a valid, unexpired U.S passport OR a WHTI-Compliant Document AND proof of identification (a non-expired government-issued photo ID for all guests 16 years of age or older). Cruises that begin or end in a U.S port – AND – begin or end in a foreign port Guests are required to carry a valid, unexpired U.S passport OR an applicable WHTI-Compliant Document to enter or re-enter the United States by air, land or sea. A passport is suggested. However, you will have to have D.L, Birth certificate, Voter registration card (see Carnival Cruise Lines).
  • Can my group receive a discount?
    We do have group discounts. Please contact our Group Coordinator to work out the arrangements.
  • What is the refund policy for 2024 The Way You Move Dance Cruise?
    For reservations made through April 1, 2024, deposits are fully-refundable, for any reason, until 15 days after the date of initial reservations or booking. Guests canceling their reservations after 15 days will forfeit their deposit and any payments made. For reservations made after June 30, 2024, all deposits and payments are non-refundable. If you have to cancel your cruise with us, you may transfer your place held to another person. You will be held responsible for any fees and or transaction to facilitate the change. Example, Carnival Cruise Line name change fees, etc. The Way You Move Dance Cruise will not be held responsible for locating a person or persons to take over your cabin/spot. Regarding cabin mates, if your cabin mate has to cancel you will be held responsible for paying their portion of the cabin or you may find a replacement as well.
  • Does the price of TWYMDC include roundtrip airfare, hotel and shuttle to and from New Orleans,Louisiana
    No. You are responsible for purchasing your own airfare, hotel and shuttle service to and from New Orleans and port.
  • Are my time share travel discounts applicable to TWYMDC?
    Your time share company must be an affiliate of TWYMDC in order for your time share privileges to apply.
  • What is the deposit amount required to reserve a cabin for 2024 The Way You Move Dance Cruise?
    The cost to register for the cruise is $100.00 per person and $250.00 per person to book cabin. Total deposit of $250.00 is due February 20, 2024. The cost of the cruise starts from $989 .00. *Taxes and fees not included
